In morning trading on Thursday, the cryptocurrency market saw a downturn, with Solana witnessing the most significant drop, plunging by 4.48% to $19.38.
Uniswap followed suit with a 3.21% decrease, reaching $4.23, while Polygon dipped by 3.01% to 53 cents.
Ethereum faced a 3.01% decline, settling at $1,575.04 on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bitcoin experienced a 2.47% decrease, reaching $26,411.60, and Ripple saw a 2.78% drop, landing at 50 cents.
Polkadot and Cardano also experienced declines, with 2.38% and 1.71% drops, reaching $4.02 and 25 cents, respectively.
Dogecoin rounded out the list of decreases with a 1.68% decline to 6 cents.
In the world of cryptocurrency-related companies, Coinbase Global Inc. saw its shares drop by 4.40% to $73.30, while MicroStrategy Inc. declined by 3.26% to $322.62. Riot Platforms Inc. experienced a significant 6.71% decrease, reaching $9.35, and Marathon Digital Holdings Inc. witnessed a 5.30% drop to $8.80.
Overstock.com Inc. faced a 1.49% decline, falling to $17.68, while Block Inc. decreased by 3.15% to $46.07, and Tesla Inc. dropped by 2.50% to $256.03.
PayPal Holdings Inc. saw a 2.72% decrease to $59.21, and Ebang International Holdings Inc. witnessed a 1.36% drop, settling at $7.26. NVIDIA Corp. experienced a 1.97% decrease, reaching $414.09, and Advanced Micro Devices Inc. faced a 3.21% decline, landing at $97.12.
In the world of cryptocurrency-focused funds, the blockchain-focused Amplify Transformational Data Sharing ETF saw a 2.42% drop to $19.97. The Bitwise Crypto Industry Innovators ETF, which concentrates on pure-play crypto companies, shed 3.02% to $6.74. Finally, the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust, tracking the Bitcoin market price, experienced a 3.04% decline, settling at $18.83.
