PRESS RELEASE. Zug, Switzerland, 13and January 2022: As part of its strategic business goal to become the leading gaming technology company, GAIMIN announces a plugin and metaverse environment that enables the use of blockchain technology and NFTs in Minecraft.
GAIMIN has developed a gaming and technology platform that provides blockchain and NFT technology to gamers and game studios while providing a mechanism for gamers to passively generate rewards based on the processing power of their gaming PC The GAIMIN platform integrates a Windows-based software application to allow users/players to generate rewards while playing. GAIMIN’s “P2E 2.0” platform, the next evolution of gaming to win (where you win even when you’re not playing!) uses the processing power of a high-performance PC to access the distributed data processing network of GAIMIN and generate rewards for the player in the form of GAIMIN’s GMRX token. These rewards can be used to acquire in-game assets, in the form of NFTs from GAIMIN’s marketplace or converted into other crypto or fiat currencies when GMRX is imminently launched on crypto exchanges.
GAIMIN’s Minecraft Plugin provides a dedicated metaverse for GAIMIN’s Minecraft players and allows these players to use NFTs and blockchain-based components in Minecraft and thus benefit from all the NFT investments they make, by using their GMRX rewards to acquire assets. Blockchain technology allows players to acquire, store, use, sell, rent and stake their NFT assets in games and applications that integrate blockchain technology and NFTs into their software, ensuring that these assets are potentially reused in different games and in the GAIMIN ecosystem.
Martin Speight, CEO of GAIMIN, explained, “GAIMIN is a games and technology company. Our company was developed for gamers by gamers. In 2021, we successfully tested our technology to utilize available GPU processing power in a gaming PC, which generates revenue for GAIMIN and rewards the gamer for using their device. As part of the development of our game platform, we wanted to offer our users the possibility to use their rewards in the games they play.
Joseph Turner, Chief Gaming Officer of GAIMIN, said, “Minecraft is our first target for blockchain and gaming technology. We have developed our own Metaverse environment for Minecraft entirely based on blockchain and NFT technology. Minecraft players can access our Minecraft environment through the GAIMIN platform, play Minecraft, and passively generate GMRX rewards for in-game use, enhancing their gaming experience while ensuring that all assets they acquire are not lost and can be used outside of Minecraft.
Martin concluded, “Minecraft is our first target for blockchain and gaming technology. We plan to expand our technology to other gaming ecosystems and are in the process of developing an SDK for developers using the Unreal platform. Game in order to use blockchain and NFTs in Unreal games. This will enable the interoperability of NFT assets across different gaming ecosystems, allowing players to retain their investment in gaming assets that are not lost when a player switches games.”
The GAIMIN platform with Minecraft blockchain and NFT updates will be launched in February 2022 following the listing of GAIMIN’s GMRX token. The GAIMIN.IO website allows users to register their interest and be notified when the platform is released.
