Coinbase has announced the listing of two new cryptocurrencies: Moonwell (WELL) and CoW Protocol (COW). Trading for Moonwell (WELL) on the Base network (ERC-20 token) began today at 9 AM UTC.
Coinbase has cautioned users to avoid sending the asset over other networks to prevent loss of funds.
For CoW Protocol (COW), trading will commence on or after 9 AM PT today, provided liquidity conditions are met. Once sufficient supply is established, trading on the COW-USD trading pair will launch in phases.
Coinbase noted that support for COW might be restricted in some jurisdictions.
Following the announcement, CoW Protocol saw a price surge of 5.70%, trading at $0.2961, with a 24-hour volume increase of 899.39%, reaching 2.03 million.
Moonwell experienced a significant jump of 20.57%, trading at $0.03623, with its volume rising by 232.37% to 3.06 million.

Coinbase’s decision to list these tokens is part of its ongoing strategy to expand its offerings and provide users with access to a broader range of digital assets.
