Cere Freeport is a new platform for the storage and delivery of NFTs in a completely decentralized manner. In addition, Cere Freeport is also delivering these assets along with NFT to buyers in a trustless manner using smart contracts.
As non-fungible tokens gain popularity in the market, the Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC) platform Cere Network has announced the launch of its NFT-focused solution, Cere Freeport. For this, the Cere network has also partnered with Polygon Studios.
The NFT Cere Freeport asset management platform will focus on the secure delivery and custody of non-fungible tokens. It is also the first truly decentralized NFT management platform for developers to secure and deliver NFT data assets together. In addition, Cere Freeport is also delivering these assets along with NFT to buyers in a trustless manner using smart contracts.
The Freeport network will allow users to publish NFT assets that exist on Cere’s decentralized data cloud. It will protect the most exclusive NFT assets through encryption. It also offers viewers “independent viewing experiences, use in games, and artistic interactions between creators and collectors can be built on the NFT property.”
Also, the good thing is that Cere Freeport can integrate directly with Ethereum via smart contracts with other EVM-enabled blockchains like Polygon, Polkadot’s Kusama, and Binance smart chain. Sandeep Nailwal, co-founder and COO of Polygon appreciated this development of Cere. He further added:
“One of the main issues with NFT security is that the underlying data is stored on centralized file servers. Cere Freeport is a game-changer in that it is stored in a truly decentralized data cloud, which means storage and ownership of NFTs does not depend on centralized ISPs (Internet Service Providers) or IPFS. (interplanetary file system). Cere Freeport is the solution to this acute need of the entire blockchain ecosystem.
NFT-focused Cere free port will be open to all
Cere announced that its Freeport platform will be open to anyone, including artists, creators, to hit and manage their NFT assets. The good thing is that it offers smart contracts ready to integrate as well as a software development kit (SDK) for developers.
Some of the first projects that will use Freeport are Chianguardians, Bit.Country, Blockchain Cuties, QORPO, Dream Quest, and Amberfi. In addition, the partnership with Bit.Country will allow Cere NFT users to access the multi-metaverse in order to showcase the power of Cere protocols. Speaking of this development, Fred Jin, co-founder of Cere Network said:
“By launching the first viable decentralized data platform for all NFTs, we are securing the future of individual data ownership and preserving privacy. Cere Freeport reduces barriers of entry for everyone by creating, securing and delivering NFT products and experiences. Freeport ensures that you won’t have hassles or complications securing your NFTs and can easily access and share your assets for generations to come.
